Working from home is a new normal. It can be challenging sometimes to work in your personal space that comes with many distractions, making it difficult to focus on work.

To give a boost to your remote performance and keep yourself productive and motivated throughout the workday, follow these tips-
1. Have a morning routine and habits like you would if you were going to the office. Set your alarms, wake up early and start your day with drinking plenty of water and doing some stretching exercises. It will give a boost to your mind and body.
2. Be sure to take out at least 5-10 minutes between tasks to step away from your work space and refresh. Stop, reflect and reset during work hours can help you with lethargy.
3. Designate a workspace or a spot somewhere in your home where you can comfortably work without disturbance and noise. Also, try to keep your workspace organized and your surrounding positive.
4. Keep your work life and personal life separate as it helps you stay productive and focused while you are at work. Balance your home life and work. 6. Schedule your eating time as well. Take your breakfast and lunch at the same time every day. Before getting back to work, keep 5-10 minutes for relaxing activity. For example- do some breathing exercise. It will make you calm and composed.
7. Schedule video conference with your colleagues. Seeing one another and communicate verbally can help you plan and work more effectively. It helps you to stay connected and keep you away from feeling of isolation.
8. Asking for regular feedback from your supervisor is essential. It helps to understand how your team and managers see your performance. Regular feedback enables you to improve yourself where you can. Your improvements help you to stay excited about your work.
9. Enhance your working skills to stay motivated. Start taking online training or courses to boost your skills. Increase your knowledge and learn new skills to give a boost to your confidence level and to stay motivated to succeed.
